The Produce Passport Book has 21 different fruits and vegetables, of which UPC branding stickers are commonly found in most, if not all, food stores across the United States and Canada. Each fruit or vegetable in the Produce Passport has a brief description about it, its particular nutritional values, the top five producing countries, a flag of one of those countries where it is grown along with a cartoon fruit character and a background map of the part of the world it comes from.
How Does the Produce Passport Work?
As illustrated above in the Produce Passport Life Cycle, we are focused on encouraging young people to eat a healthier diet while providing them a fun way to track the fruit and vegetables they eat. It is as fun as it is simple; you buy the fruit, take the sticker off, eat the fruit and then stick that sticker in the Produce Passport until all the pages are full.
When I finish filling up the Produce Passport what do I do?
After you have filled up the Produce Passport with the stickers, you can download our Produce Passport Rewards Form (PDF) to let us know when you have finished the Passport. Please do not send your books back to us! They are yours to keep just send back the form and proper shipping and handling so you can receive your world traveler’certificate and a coin from a foreign country.
